9/11 WTC Cancer Claimants Share Uplifting Stories
Given the announcement last Friday that close to 50 cancers would now be eligible medical conditions under the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act, today was a busy day in the office speaking with cancer survivors and their families.
Despite speaking with so many today impacted by 9/11 WTC related cancers, I am not at all depressed. In fact, I am quite energized. It’s currently past 9:30pm in the office and I just got off the phone with a former EMT who is successfully beating Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. The large majority of the survivors I spoke to today were upbeat and and hopeful. Who am I to be depressed?
At the end of the day, after completing all the mundane yet necessary parts of an active 9/11 claim law practice, encouraging stories like those shared today keep us going. Thank you to all the 9/11 cancer survivors who called and shared your extraordinary stories. Your heroism did not stop after you left the crash site!
