Workers Compensation Bar Raises $20,000 for Pediatric Cancer

The annual New York Workers Compensation Bar Association golf outing yesterday raised a record $20,000 for pediatric cancer research. Bill Turley, and Craig Rosasco led our golf contingent, while Aimee Berlin and Jaclyn Marziliano Simmons hit the tennis courts – all for a good cause. Chris Redmond, Ronna Horwitz-Bard and I handled office duty until I joined the crew in the evening for the awards ceremony.
Hats off to my fellow workers compensation lawyers Ken Larkin and Ed Romano for organizing this wonderful event, and to Summit Pharmacy for their generous contribution to help kids with cancer. Who says lawyers don’t contribute to society.
