Off The Record – Veteran’s and Social Security Disability Claims
Video Transcript
Hi, my name is Janet Santeramo and I’m an attorney at Turley Redmond & Rosasco. And I wanna discuss Social Security and VA benefits. If you’re a veteran who is receiving VA disability but as a result of your service-connected disabilities, you’re unable to work, you may wanna consider filing for Social Security. There are some veterans who believe they may be able to get a job and so they don’t bother to file for Social Security disability, they just keep trying to get a job. Unfortunately, a lot of times, that can lead to leaving a lot of money on the table. If you’re not sure if you fit the criteria to file for Social Security disability, give us a call. The evaluation is free and the consultation is free. And we can tell you whether we think you may have a Social Security disability claim along with a VA claim. Thank you.
