Off The Record – Social Security Disability and VA Benefits
Video Transcript
I want to discuss Social Security and VA benefits.
If you’re a veteran who is receiving VA disability benefits, but your service-connected disabilities prevent you from working, you may want to consider filing for Social Security Disability benefits.
Some veterans believe they may still be able to find a job, so they decide not to apply for Social Security Disability and continue trying to work.
Unfortunately, many times this can result in leaving benefits on the table.
If you’re unsure whether you meet the requirements to file for Social Security Disability, give us a call.
The evaluation and consultation are free. We can review your situation and help you understand what options may be available to you.
