Is it Possible to Collect Workers’ Compensation for Life?
New York Workers’ Compensation and Disability attorney Bill Turley explains whether it is possible to collect Workers’ Compensation benefits for life. You may have friends or family members that are on a program where they receive continuous benefits for life. For some injuries, that is possible. However, in March 2007, new legislation was enacted that put a cap on the number of years you could receive Workers’ Compensation benefits for a permanent partial disability. Any acccidents that occurred after March 2007 are subject to those limits. Watch the video now to learn more. Workers’ Compensation cases can be complex and they are best handled by an attorney who specializes in Workers’ Compensation cases.
