Off The Record – Workers’ Comp – Minimum Benefits Increase

Hi, Bill Turley from Turley, Redmond & Rosasco. Well, here’s some good news out of Albany. Governor Kathy Hochul recently signed a bill that’s gonna raise the minimum workers’ compensation rate from $150 per week to $275 a week in 2024. It’s gonna be raised further to $325 a week in 2025. And after that, in 2026, it’ll be based on the statewide average weekly wage. It’ll be one-fifth of the average weekly wage.
