Krystal Matos was born and raised in Suffolk County. She earned her undergraduate degree at Stony Brook University and her law degree at Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. While attending Stony Brook University, she was the recipient of the Undergraduate Excellence and Achievement Award by the History department. During her time at Touro Law Center, Krystal was a member and secretary of the Latin American Law Students Association (LALSA) and recipient of the Long Island Hispanic Bar Association Luis Pagan Fellow. Krystal was admitted to the New York Bar in 2016.
Krystal started her career serving as an Assistant District Attorney in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, where she was lead counsel in numerous jury and bench trials. Krystal worked as a trial attorney in District Court, Domestic Violence Bureau, and Case Advisory Bureau. Krystal successfully prosecuted cases including assault, narcotics, driving while intoxicated, sexual abuse, and other offenses. Since joining Turley Redmond, Rosasco, and Rosasco, Krystal represents clients with claims for Social Security Disability benefits.
Outside of work, Krystal enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and Broadway shows.
