Yes. You can request a hearing and redetermination within four (4) months of the date of the denial. A Hearing Officer will be assigned to your case and you will be notified of a hearing date. If you are still denied after a hearing, you are entitled to judicial review under Article 78 of the Civil Practice Law and Rules.
