Ronna L. Horwitz-Bard
I regularly represent injured workers before the New York State Workers' Compensation Board. I advocate for and protect their rights against the insurance carriers or employers. I negotiate resolutions and settlements with carriers to maximize our clients' benefits. I take testimony from medical and lay witnesses in disputed cases. I argue appeals before the Worker's Compensation Board Panel of Commissioners and write appeals and rebuttals. I supervise associates and staff in our Hempstead office.
